Emergencies
Korea's emergency number is 119. When you call an ambulance, clearly give the location, the patient's condition, and whether they're conscious.

When reporting an emergency, stay calm and give the details in order: who, where, and how. Describing the location by a landmark or intersection is the fastest way to be found.

Health Checkups

When you hear your results, check both the "suchi" (numeric value) and the normal range. Results are described with "suchi-ga nopda / natda" (the value is high / low).

π‘ Tip: Checkups usually require at least 8 hours of fasting beforehand. On your results sheet, check for the "jeongsang beomwi" (normal range) and any "jaegeomsa piryo" (needs re-examination) flags.
