School Life: Classes, Assignments, Exams
As an intermediate learner, it's time to master the expressions you'll hear all the time at school. Let's pick up the words and sentences you need for classes, assignments, and exams.
Class Expressions
'์์ ์ ๋ฃ๋ค' (sueobeul deutda) means to take a class, while '์์ ์ ๋น ์ง๋ค' (sueobe ppajida) means to miss one. You'll also reach for ์ถ์ (chulseok, attendance) and ๊ฒฐ์ (gyeolseok, absence) constantly.
Assignments and Exams
'๊ณผ์ ๋ฅผ ์ ์ถํ๋ค' (gwajereul jechulhada) is to submit an assignment, and '์ํ์ ๋ณด๋ค' (siheomeul boda) is to take an exam. The word for a deadline is ๋ง๊ฐ์ผ (magamil).
Absence and Make-up Classes
If you can't make it to class, you'll use '๊ฒฐ์๊ณ๋ฅผ ๋ด๋ค' (gyeolseokgyereul naeda, to submit an absence form) and '๋ณด๊ฐ์ ๋ฃ๋ค' (bogangeul deutda, to attend a make-up class).
