Workplace Basics: Commuting, Meetings, Leave
Every workplace has a set of basic expressions you'll use daily. Once you know the words for commuting, meetings, and time off, company life gets a whole lot smoother.
Arriving at and Leaving Work
'์ถ๊ทผํ๋ค' (chulgeunhada) is to go to work, and 'ํด๊ทผํ๋ค' (toegeunhada) is to leave work. To be late is '์ง๊ฐํ๋ค' (jigakhada).

Meetings and Time Off
'ํ์๋ฅผ ํ๋ค' (hoeuireul hada) is to have a meeting, and 'ํด๊ฐ๋ฅผ ๋ด๋ค' (hyugareul naeda) is to take leave. The term for annual paid leave is ์ฐ์ฐจ (yeoncha).

Remote Work and Field Work
'์ฌํ๊ทผ๋ฌด' (jaetaekgeunmu) is working from home and '์ธ๊ทผ' (oegeun) is working off-site. Overtime is ์ผ๊ทผ (yageun).

๐ก Tip: When requesting time off, you can use either 'ํด๊ฐ๋ฅผ ์ฐ๋ค' (hyugareul sseuda) or 'ํด๊ฐ๋ฅผ ๋ด๋ค' (hyugareul naeda). In more formal settings, '์ฐ์ฐจ๋ฅผ ์ ์ฒญํ๋ค' (yeoncha sincheonghada, to apply for annual leave) sounds more natural.
