Also & Only: 도 / 만
The particle 도 (do) means 'also' or 'too,' and 만 (man) means 'only' or 'just.' They replace the subject markers 이/가 and the object markers 을/를, attaching in their place.

Combining with other particles
도 and 만 remove 이/가 and 을/를 and take their place. However, they can follow location and direction particles such as 에, 에서, and (으)로, as in 학교에서도 (also at school) and 집에만 (only at home).
| Particle | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 도 (do) | also, too | 저도 가요 (I go, too) |
| 만 (man) | only, just | 이것만 주세요 (Just this one, please) |
💡 Tip: 도 adds, while 만 limits. 저도 means 'me too,' and 저만 means 'only me.'
